Wood Framing & Shear Wall

Wood shear nailing inspection is typically required when nail spacing is 4" or less within the main wind/seismic force resisting system, including shear walls, diaphragms, struts, bracing and hold downs. Checking the trusses to verify installation and placed correctly, Verify nailing type and pattern matches the shear wall schedule in the engineered plan. Every aspect of Framing will be checked from the Anchors / Hold-downs, Lumber and Materials used to Verify nailing in the field.
